Over the week!
I kicked off the week with another senior photoshoot for the Class of 2026, and I had such a wonderful time with both my client and his mom. It was truly such a joy getting to work with them. There’s something so bittersweet about senior sessions s seeing a mother so proud of her son, and him equally proud of how far he’s come and everything he’s accomplished.
The entire session was filled with laughter, great energy, and genuine moments that I absolutely loved capturing. Another amazing senior session officially in the books!
Outside of photography, I’ve also been taking steps toward my future career goals. I’m planning to attend Northwest Florida State College before transferring to UWF to continue pursuing my dream of becoming a pediatric nurse practitioner. This past Tuesday, I had the opportunity to shadow a pediatric nurse practitioner, and honestly, it was everything I hoped it would be. Getting to see the behind-the-scenes and experience what their day-to-day looks like made everything feel so much more real. It confirmed for me that this is exactly what I want to do, and I’m beyond excited for what’s ahead.
I also spent part of the week updating headshots, capturing group photos, and getting updated action shots for Walton County. Another session filled with laughter, great energy, and a big crowd! I always enjoy getting to capture the hardworking people who help keep our community running and our beaches safe.
And to top the week off another wedding officially in the books! Getting to capture two people beginning a brand-new chapter together and witnessing all the little moments that make their story unique.
Every wedding reminds me why I love photography so much celebrating love, preserving memories, and being trusted to document such meaningful moments. Feeling incredibly grateful for every opportunity, every client, and every memory captured this week.

Last weekend
I had the opportunity to photograph the Gulf Coast Martial Arts Championships this past Saturday, May 2nd. Another phenomenal tournament in the books. Grateful to be behind the lens capturing the intensity, passion, and precision of every competitor giving their all. I’m continuing to grow and build on my wedding photography, and I’m so excited to keep expanding in this side of my buisness.
I’ve recently received a couple new inquiries and I’m incredibly grateful! If you know anyone who’s planning a wedding (or recently got engaged), I would love to connect with them. I do offer engagement sessions as well.

Tips & Tricks
When photographing, if your scene has two different lighting conditions, choose one and keep your client fully in it. Mixing both can create uneven exposure and color issues, and it’s often difficult to correct in post-production, so consistency in your setup makes editing much smoother.
